Fulton County Circuit Court

In 1823, the Illinois General Assembly assigned Fulton County to the state's First Judicial Circuit. In 1829, the General Assembly moved the county to the Fifth Judicial Circuit, where it remained until 1849, when the General Assembly moved it to the Tenth Judicial Circuit. In 1857, the General Assembly returned the county to the Fifth Judicial Circuit.
