Oldham, Todd and Company was formed in February 1832 when Robert S. Todd became partners with Edward Oldham and Thomas Hemingway. The three took charge of the Oldham, Todd and Company Woolen Mills, a cotton and fabric manufacturer. The partnership was successful, and the company conducted business across several states.
