Anderson, Tavner B.

Anderson moved to Tennessee with his brother when he was young and then to Sangamon County, Illinois, in 1829. He enlisted in the Black Hawk War, serving as a sergeant in Abraham Lincoln's company. In 1834, he married Polly Pirkins, with whom he had six children. They subsequently lived in Christian County.
