Baker, John L.

Died: 1883-10-26 Franklin County, Kansas
Baker married Rachel Biggs in Butler County, Ohio, in 1828, with whom he had seven children. He moved to Shelby County, Indiana, shortly thereafter before moving to Illinois sometime before 1832, when he served in the Black Hawk War alongside Abraham Lincoln. By 1835, Baker had settled in Loami, although he eventually moved to Ottawa, Kansas.
