Burroughs, Mark

Mark Burroughs was a pharmacist, millwright, and state legislator. He moved from his native state to Iowa, settling in Henry County, where he found employment as a druggist and millwright. From 1848 to 1850, he represented Henry County, as a Whig, in the Iowa House of Representatives.
