Charles, John F.

Born: 1808 Pennsylvania

A physician, Charles settled in Carthage, Illinois, in 1834. On June 26 of that year, he married Ann Eliza Baldwin. Charles won election to the Illinois House of Representatives in 1840, representing Hancock County. He lost his election to the Illinois Senate in 1842. In 1850, he was a physician living in Hancock County, Illinois.
