Davidson, Samuel

Samuel Davidson was a tanner and farmer. He married Elizabeth Ann Sheets in Edgar County, Illinois in September 1842. The two eventually had at least eleven children together. By 1850, he was living in Indiana, working as a tanner, and owned $2,000 in real estate. He continued doing well, and, by 1860, had relocated back to Edgar County in Illinois and was working as a farmer. By that time, he had a personal estate valued at $890 and real estate valued at another $2,600.
