Fosselman, Joseph B.

Joseph B. Fosselman relocated to Springfield, Illinois in 1850. He worked as a druggist for ten years, then as a wholesale grocer for thirteen years. In October 1852, he married Julia J. Plank, with whom he had at least two children. By 1860, he was doing quite well, owning a personal estate valued at $10,000 and real estate valued at another $10,000.
