Hickey, Ashley

From at least 1830 to 1832, Hickey lived in a part of Sangamon County, Illinois, that would later become Menard County. In 1836, he lived in Morgan County and was purchasing land in the part of the county that would later become Cass County. He lived in Cass County from 1837 to 1840. By 1841, he lived in Mason County, when he served on the new county's first grand jury. By 1860, he had settled near Chandlerville in Cass County. Hickey made a living as a farmer.
