Johnson, Bennet C.

As early as 1831, Johnson operated a grocery and liquor store in Springfield, Illinois. He married Eliza J. Thompson in 1834. Politically, Johnson was a Whig. In 1842, he retained Logan & Lincoln to sue for a debt in Sangamon County.
