Lanterman, Abraham

Abraham Lanterman, farmer, settled in Sangamon County with his parents in 1819. He purchased eighty acres of land in Sangamon County in 1823 and an additional eighty the following year. Lanterman married Martha White in 1826 and the pair had six daughters. At the time of the 1860 census, he owned real estate valued at $8,000 and possessed personal property valued at $10,000.
