Latimer, Alexander

Latimer lived in Sangamon County, Illinois, when he enlisted in the militia as a private to serve in the Black Hawk War. Latimer was a neighbor of Reason Shipley and served as a chainman when Abraham Lincoln surveyed Shipley's property.
