Latham, John

Flourished: Sangamon County, Illinois

Latham served as a private in Thomas Moffett's company of mounted volunteers during the Black Hawk War. He married Lucy Bennett in Morgan County in 1834. Their union produced two children. From 1834-1836, he purchased several tracts of land in Logan County.
