Orendorff, Thomas

Orendorff settled in McLean County in 1823. In 1825, he married Melinda Walker. In 1827, he was the first coroner of Tazewell County. He was the county assessor for a time, and later gained an appointment as assessor and treasurer for McLean County. In 1850, he was living with his wife and nine children in McLean County, Illinois, where he was a farmer with $2,200 in real estate.
