Nathaniel D. Parker was a lawyer and county government official. Parker had a law practice in Beloit, Wisconsin. From 1858 to 1859, Parker represented Beloit’s First Ward on the Rock County Board of Supervisors. In 1860, he was practicing law in Beloit and owned $7,500 in real property and had a personal estate of $11,000. Parker supported John C. Fremont in the presidential election of 1856.

Nathaniel and his wife Mary A. J. Parker had four children together.
