Penticost, Henry

Flourished: 1832 Menard County, Illinois

Alternate name: Pentecost

Penticost emigrated from his native state first to Kentucky and, in 1827, to Sangamon County, Illinois, settling in a part of the county that would later be incorporated into Menard County. In 1836, he purchased land on Little Creek near Indian Creek. He was the brother of John Penticost and William Penticost.
