Pollard, Benjamin

Pollard lived in Sangamon County, Illinois, as early as 1830, when he began purchasing land in the northern part of the county, which would soon be partitioned off to create Menard County. By 1850, Pollard had moved to Mason County, where he was a farmer and owned $3,000 worth of real estate.
