Ridgely, Vincent (Ridgley)
Alternate name: Ridgley
A son of Nicholas H. Ridgely, Vincent spent his early years in Sangamon County, Illinois. In April 1847, Ridgely formed a partnership with Zimri A. Enos, offering their services to veterans of the Mexican War to obtain land warrants or sell the warrants for cash. Enos & Ridgely was in business until August 1847. During the Civil War, Ridgely served as captain of Company E of the Twelfth Illinois Infantry. He later moved to Adams County, Illinois.
