Rose, Robert L.

Died: 1877-03-14 Washington County, Maryland
Rose received limited education while growing up. He moved to Allens Hill, New York and worked in agricultural pursuits and held several local offices. In 1846, Rose won election, as a Whig, to the U.S. House of Representatives, serving from 1847-1851. At the close of his term, Rose resumed agricultural pursuits and returned to Geneva.
