Shelton, James

Flourished: 1839-05-23 Sangamon County, Illinois

Shelton was brought by his parents to western Sangamon County, Illinois, in 1826. He was first married Sally A. Beckelheimer; after her death, he re-married to Letitia Wyckoff in 1840. She died as well, and James re-married to Louisa McComas in 1862. Shelton later moved to Texas.
