Stapleford, Edward

Stapleford was married and had children in Delaware before moving to Illinois. Stapleford was elected constable for Springfield in August 1839. In 1849, he re-married to Sarah M. Delworth in Fulton County, and they settled in Vermont, Illinois, where Edward was a merchant and owned $1,000 worth of real estate.
