Thompson, Jeremiah

Thompson lived in Sangamon County from at least 1830 to 1836, when he moved to De Witt County, Illinois. There, he and his wife Nancy were among the founding members of a Christian Church in Creek Township. Thompson was a farmer; in 1850, he owned $600 worth of real estate. In 1860, he owned $2,200 worth of real estate.
