Viney, William S.
Born: 1805-XX-XX Kentucky
William S. Viney settled with his family in Sangamon County, Illinois in 1819. He married Margaret Laughlin on February 3, 1829, in Sangamon County. Sometime between 1836 and 1838, Viney moved his family to Iowa. In 1850, he was the sheriff of Henry County, Iowa. In 1860, he was living in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, and he owned real property valued at $20,000 and personal property valued at $300.
