Nueces River

The Nueces River rises near the border of Real and Edwards counties in Texas and flows 315 miles southeast into Corpus Christi Bay. The area between the Nueces to the north and the Rio Grande to the south was in dispute during the Mexican War, with the border finally being fixed on the Rio Grande.
