Fox River (Northern Illinois)

Beginning in Wisconsin, the Fox River meanders generally south until it reaches the southern border of Kane County, Illinois, and then runs southwest until it converges with the Illinois River at Ottawa. It served as a water source for the Illinois and Michigan Canal.
