Sec[Section] 1st Be It enacted by the people of the state of Illinois Represented in the General assembly, That So much of the act entitled and act for the relief of the Securities of Henry Boyer Late Sheriff of Gallatin county approved February 26th 1833 as autherises and empowers Micheal Sprinkle[,] William McCoy and, and Micheal Jones, or any one of them to collect any and all taxes that may be due on the books of
said Collector, for the years 1824 & 1825 by distress and Sale of personal or real
estate, in the same manner, that as Sheriffs may now Lawfully collect taxes, and enforce
the payment thereof, be and he Same is hereby repealed, This act to take effect and
be in force from and after its passage
