Sec[Section] 1^st Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois Represented in the General Assembly.

That Asahel Heath[,] Nathan Mars, and Asa Norton be and they are hereby appointed commissioners to review and relocate that or any part of the State road leading from Vincennes to Chicago which lies between Palestine & Hutsonville in Crawford county.

Sec 2^nd Said Commissioners or a majority of them shall meet on or before the first day of March next and after being duly sworn by some Justice of the Peace faithfully to discharge the duties herein required of them, shall procede to execute the same and they are hereby required to make a report of their procedings to the county commissioners Court next ensuing in the said County of Crawford after such duties shall have been performed, and said Court shall cause said road to be opened and kept in repair as other state roads are.

Sec 3.^rd

Said Commissioners shall receive for their services a reasonable compensation to be paid out of the County treasury by order of the county commissioners court, so much of the road as said Commissioners shall deem it expediant to change is hereby vacatedThis act to take effect from and after its passage
