Sec[Section] 1st Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly That the private road as now marked and laid out & opened from a point diverging
from the road Leading from Springfield to Hillsboro, near the farm of Butler Seward and intersecting the road from Hillsboro to Jacksonville near the farm of Bailey Taylor, be and the same is hereby declared a State road, and shall be worked and kept in
repair as other State Roads.
