Sec[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the General Assembly; That the commissioner’s court of Crawford County are hereby empowered, if they think proper, to appoint three disinterested commissioners, whose duty it shall be (after being duly sworn before some Justice of the peace for said county) to impartially review and ^[re?]^locate that part of the State road leading from Vincennes to chicago lying in Crawford County. Commencing where said road croses the line between the N[North]. E[East] and N W[West] quarters of section 33 Township 8 north, Range 11 West, and terminating at the town of Hutsonville, and make a report of the same to the next commissioners Court.
Sec 2. If any change or alteration should be made by said commissioners, the commissioner’s court shall cause the same to be confirmed, and said part so changed shall be cut out the usial width and kept in repair as other state roads.
Sec 3. The commissioner’s Court shall pay out of the County treasury to each commissioner such sum per. day as they may deem just and equal.
