Sec:[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly; That John A M^cClanahan, his heirs and assigns, be and they are hereby authorised to build and continue a Mill Dam across Beck’s creek, in Fayette County on the south East quarter of the south East quarter of section thirty, in Township Nine North in Range two East, of the third principal meridian; not to exceed eight feet high above low water mark

This act to take effect from and after its passage
