Sec[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the General assembly: That John M^cFatridge of Johnson County Josiah Blackman and James G. Hutchinson of Gallatin County are hereby appointed to review and relocate that part of the state road leading from Quality to Vienna as lies between William G. Hutchinsons and Vienna.

Sec 2 Said commissioners or a majority of them shall meet at the house of William G. Hutchinson on the first monday in June next, or within six months thereafter, and after being sworn by some Justice of the peace or qualified officer, faithfully and impartially to perform the duties required of them by this act, shall proceed to re-veiw, survey, mark, and re-locate said road, commencing at the hou or near the house of William G. Hutchinson, thence on the best route to, or near the house of Josiah Blackman, thence to, or near the house of Hall Whitaker, thence to James Lesleys, and thence on the nearest and best route to Vienna in Johnson County.

They shall report the same giving a plat, and distances and courses to the commissioners courts of each county through which said road shall pass.

Sec 3 Said road shall be four poles wide, and shall be opened, worked, and kept in repair as other state roads are.

Sec [4] Said commissioners shall be allowed the sum of two dollars per day, for the time necessarily employed in relocating said road, to be paid out of the County Treasuries through which said road shall pass and also [...?] a reasonable allowance to the surveyor and chain carriers or hands that may be employed by them for laying out said road.

Sec. 5. the said road when so laid out shall be opened by order of said commissioners court without delay & kept in repair, provided that the s^d road when so laid out as aforesaid shall in no wise be construed as to authorise the vacation of the old road lead from the said Hutchinsons to the town of viena, unless upon the petion of a majority of the persons residing in said the neighborhood of said road
