Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly That all the provisions of the act entitled an act concerning Attachments shall extend to one or more joint debtors so that in all cases when two or more persons are jointly indebted either as joint obligors, partners or otherwise, and an affidavit shall be made in persuance of the provisions of the said act so as to bring one or more of such joint debtors within the provisions of the same and ameniable to the process of Attachment then the writ of Attachment shall issue against the property and effects of such joint debtors so ameniable as aforesaid and shall direct the Sheriff to summons all of the said joint debtors to answer to Said action

Sec 2. The Court out of which such writ shall be issued, shall proceed in relation to such joint debtors and so much of their, lands, rights, credits, money and effects, as may be attached, in the same manner as pointed out in the act to which this is amendatory
