Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly That the Collector of Warren County, is hereby authorised and required to collect the Taxes due and unpaid for the year one thousand eight hundred and Forty, from all persons residing in the County of Henderson, heretofore a part of Warren County, in the same manner, as though said County of Warren had not been divided; and make returns to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Warren County, of all real estate on which taxes may remain due and unpaid, in the same manner as now required by law, and to do all other things necessary to be performed, under the laws, in relation to the public Revenue, to insure the Collection of the same.
