Sec[Section] 1st Be it Enacted by the people of the State of Illinois Represented in the general assembly that Ralph Woodruff and his assoiates[,] heirs[,] and assignes be and they are hereby authoized to Establish and maintain a ferry across Fox & Illinois Rivers at there Junction in the county of Lasalle at the Town of Ottawa and on Section Eleven for and during the Term of ten years from and after the pasage of this act
Sec 2nd the Rates of Ferriage for crossing said Ferry shall be fixed by the county commissioners court of Lasalle county provided always no person attending the County commissioners or circuit court as a member or Judge thereof or as a party to any matter pending in or any witness or Juror attending on said Court shall be Taxed Ferriage
Sec 3d The said Ralph Woodruff his associates[,] heirs[,] and assigns shall be allowed the Term of ten months from and after the passage of this act to construct the nessary Boats and other wise prepair the said Ferry for the use contemplated in this act
Sec 4th the said Ralph Woodruff his asso^c^iates[,] heirs[,] and assigns shall at all times keep on hand a good supply of Boats[,] oars[,] polls[,] and ^other^ impliments nessary to insure a safe and speedy pasage across said Rivers

and shall not be entitled to charge any more than ordinary or Single Ferriage at any stage of Watter or until after nine oclock at night and pay over the county Treasure of Lasalle county the sum of fifty dollars and there after shall pay anuly from time to time the amount that the county commissioners may assess to be paid in to the county Treasure of said county
