A Bill of an act to relocate apoartion of the state road leading from Palestine to Vandalia

Sec[Section] [...?] 1 Be it Enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the general assembly that a poartion of the state road leading from Palestine to Vandalia be and the same is hereby relocated as follows viz Begining at the west end of grand Prairie Street in Palestine thence due west about one hundred rods thence a north western direction to the South East corner of the north East quarter of section Number thirty three Township seven north Rang Eleven west2 one half mile striking the road as at present located
Sec 2 that the County Commissioners Court of Crawford County shall cause said relocated poartion of said road to be opened and kept in repair as other state roads are Required to be and that that portion of Said Road from Palestine to to the place where the relocated portin strikes the Said Road be and the Same is hereby vacated

1William Wilson introduced HB 236 in the House of Representatives on February 13, 1841. The House referred the bill to the Committee on State Roads. The Committee on State Roads did not report back the bill. The House incorporate provisions of the bill in section three of HB 284.
