An act to amend an “Act Authorizing the County Commissioners Court to Construct Certain roads in Greene County”

Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly, That the County Commissioners of Greene County may if in their opinion the public good requires it appoint three suitable persons as Commissioners to review and relocate, so much of the roads leading from White Hall and Carrolton to Newport on the Illinois River runs on the Land of Stephen M Spencer provided, That no change shall take place in said roads until the said Spencer shall at his own expence make all that part of said Roads so changed, and until the same is accepted by the County Commissioners of said County.

Sec. 2. If the said Commissioners shall report against such change the said Spencer shall pay all the expence of said review.
