Sec 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly That the east half of townships twenty three, twenty four, and twenty five^north^ in range seven east of the fourth principal meridian shall hereafter be attached
to, and form a part of, the county of Carroll.
Sec 2. Justices of the peace and constables residing within the aforesaid boundaries
shall continue in office and shall have and exercise the same Jurisdiction, as other
Justices and constables within the original boundaries of the County of Carroll.
