Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of Illinois Represented in the General Assembly. That the Trustees of the Town of Peoria be, and they are hereby authorized and empowered to cut down, widen, grade, or otherwise alter or remove, that portion of the embankment of the Peoria and Warsaw Rail-Road which is situated on Water Street in said Town of Peoria extending from the public landing to the lower side of Hudson Street in said town, in such manner as they deem best to accommodate public travel on said Water Street
