The committee on Finance, who were directed to examine the books and accounts of the
Auditor and Treasurer of the State, report that they have attended to that duty, and find the books and vouchers to
agree with the reports heretofore made by those officers.
1Henry L. Webb of the Committee on Finance, on which sat Abraham Lincoln,, issued the report to the House of Representatives on January 12, 1839. The House received and read the report.
