The firm of Ashley, Wiley & Company operated a land and real estate office in Anna, Illinois, by 1857. The partnership consisted of Lewis T. Ashley and Benjamin L. Wiley. By late in 1858 Ashley, Wiley & Company was succeeded by the firm of Wiley, Phillips, & Dresser.
