Allard, Luther S.

Luther S. Allard worked as a druggist. He married Sarah F. Payne on October 3, 1849, and the couple would eventually have ten children. In 1850, Allard owned $700 worth of real estate. In 1857, he was elected assessor and treasurer of the town of Virginia in Cass County, Illinois. By 1870, Allard had amassed a personal estate of $3,000 and real estate valued at $9,000.
