Brookie, John

Flourished: 1841-1847 Sangamon County, Illinois

In 1841, Brookie retained Logan & Lincoln to collect a debt in the Sangamon County Circuit Court. In 1842, he purchased Daniel B. Hill's interest in a Springfield drug store, and in 1846 he opened a grocery and general store, which operated until 1847.
