Cowgill, William M.

Died: 1862-10-02 Petersburg, Illinois

In 1832, Cowgill married Clementine Sayre in Ohio, and later that year they moved to Springfield, Illinois, where they raised five children. Cowgill was a merchant in Springfield from 1832 to 1844, at which point he moved his family to Petersburg.
