Logan, David

Died: 1874-03-26 Oregon
A son of Stephen T. Logan, David Logan moved to Sangamon County with his parents in 1832. He studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1843. He practiced in Sangamon County until 1847, when he moved to the Oregon Territory, where he continued as an attorney. A Republican, he served as a member of the state legislature in 1854, and he unsuccessfully ran for the U.S. Senate in 1860.
