Patrick, Amos F.

Patrick practiced law in Will County, Illinois. In 1843, he was appointed public administrator of Will County and in 1845, he was elected to serve as clerk pro tem in the Illinois Senate. In 1847, Patrick resigned his position as public administrator to take a clerk position in the General Land Office, a position he held until 1849. In 1850, he owned $1,500 worth of real estate. In 1854, Patrick attended a Democratic convention in Joliet. In 1860, he was farming and owned $6,000 in real property, with a personal estate of $2,500.
