Rutledge, James (Morgan Co.)

From May to July of 1832, Rutledge served with three different militia companies fighting the Black Hawk War; in two of those companies, he served alongside Abraham Lincoln. In 1840, Rutledge was the head of a household in Morgan County, and he was employed in manufacture or trade.
