Stevens, James

Stevens was a sheriff in Macon County, Illinois from 1838 to 1840. On November 15, 1840, he married Letitia Fordice in Macon County, and they later moved to Bloomington, Illinois. In 1860, they were living in Bloomington, where Stevens was employed as a drayman.
