Your letter of the 13^th April inst. making enquiries as to the claim for 3 months extra pay due Jno. J. Miller Private K Company 6^th Infantry,2 addressed to the Pay Master General has been refered to me. In reply I state that the claim was paid to you, in person, at my office, ^in cash,^ on the 20^th of January last; & your receipt annexed to the claim accordingly.
