Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois Represented in the general assembly,
That George MillerWilliamPennington and James C. Brattle be and are hereby appointed commissioners to view mark and survey and locate a road commencing at the town of M^cComb in M^cDonough County and taking a due course east for the distance of two miles thence following the ridge on the most suitable rout so as to intersect the present established road at the Table grove on the east side of M^cDonough County doing as little damage to private property as the public good will permit.

Sec. 2. The said commissioners, or a majority of them shall meet at the Town of M^cComb on the first monday of April next or within twenty days thereafter and after being duly sworn by some Justice of the Peace of said County faithfully to view and locate said road without partiality, shall immediately thereafter procede to discharge the duties required by this act

Sec. 3. As soon as practicable after said road is located said commissioners or a majority of them shall make out a report accompanied by a map of said road noting the courses and distances from point to point with other such remarks as they may deem nessary or proper and transmit the same to the clerk of M^cDonough county, which shall be filed and preserved in his office.

Sec. 4. When said road shall be so located it shall be a state road to all intents and purposes and shall be opened and kept in repair as other State Roads.

Sec. 5

That so much of the State Road as at present Laid out from M^cComb to Havannah as lies between said Town of M^cComb and said Table grove be and the same is hereby vacated

Sec. 6
The county commissioners of M^cDonough County shall allow said commissioners a reasonable compensation for their services to be paid out of the County Treasury.
