Sec.[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois Represented in the General Assembly that the proprietors of that part of the Town of Cambridge in the County of Peoria which is located on the East half of Section Twenty four Township ten North, Range four East of the fourth principal Meridian, or that part of it, of which Zachariah Philips is owner and proprietor, be Authorized and empowered to vacate the plat and Survey of the Same; Provided the consent of all the owners of lots in that part of the said Town of Cambridge be first had in writing and acknowledged before some Justice of the Peace and recorded in the recorders office of Peoria County

Sec. 2. That the proprietors of Manning Smith & Highams Addition to the Town of Alton laid off and platted August 20th 1836. on Sections number thirteen, Eighteen, and nineteen in Township Number five North, Ranges Number nine and ten West of the third principal meridian, in Madison County and the owners of lots therein be and they are hereby Authorized and empowered to alter change or vacate the survey and plat of said Addition, with the exception of Long Milton and Washington Streets. Provided the consent of all the owners and proprietors aforesaid shall be first had in writing, which shall be acknowledged in the same manner as deeds of conveyance, and recorded in the Recorders office in said County of Madison.
